check engine light is coming on

I have a 95 gt, it has 104,000 miles on it. I just had a new fuel pump put on, along with new spark plugs and wires, oil change and filter, and fuel filter. When I pull out fast or accelerate really hard (like have it in 1st or 2nd @ 5000 rpms)the light comes on... someone told me to check about oxygen sensors? If anyone could have any helpful advice I would be more than glad to hear it. When the light comes on it stays on for a few seconds and then goes off.....I just dont want to tear anything else up or make an existing problem worse.

Get the codes read and we can narrow it down a lot better.

I am having that done in the morning, but my mechanic is very sloooow, it takes him forever to get anything done!! Last time the codes were 181 and 189. They said my gas was too rich and the other one said my gas was to lean. Im hoping that it will be nothing this time.

Sounds like possible O2's to me, but be sure and let us know in the morning what he finds.
