Question Blower Fan, High speed only

Does anyone know the location of the relay / diode pack which controls the front A/C blower speeds? I currently only have high speed available. This is for a 97 Astro with v-6 engine

Re: Blower Fan, High speed only

My '92 has the blower relay mounted under the hood, on the passenger side, in the engine compartment. There are two relays mounted, both black. The larger one controls the blower, with the lower three speeds controlled by one set of contacts, and the high speed by another. Likely the contacts are worn or corroded. Careful, this relay is powered, so disconnect your battery before disassembly and cleaning.

If you have high speed fan only, your problem is the blower motor resistor mounted on the heater box.
