EGR Linear Gasket "Clean Screen"

Hi there first off I would like to say Hello and this a great site! I have been banging my head against the wall with this truck. (1994 S-10 Blazer Tahoe) one thing after another. Ball joints to injectors, power steering hoses and heater core (fun stuff) yadda yadda but the bigest problem was getting anyone to fix my EGR valve issues.

Well like anything else in life, you want it done right do it yourself. here is the tip don't listen to the dealerships or local garages. Get a GM linear gasket replacement for your EGR valve for $38 bucks 1 hr of your time - you're good to go. check this address out... hopefully it will save someone a long trip on the pain and frustration train so to speak.

http://www.tomco-inc.com/

now I have to find the area to cry about my ABS light that will not go off and for some reason my ALDL is giving a port error code and can't connnect.

Best regards,
Scott

I don't recommend the screened gasket seeing that all it will accomplish is keeping carbon in your truck.

You need to remove the carbon chunks and get them out of your engine, not keep them in there.

from what I understand from Tomco is that they are buned to nothing at 2000 degrees

thanks perhaps I might look at that again, but to this point no check engine light has returned.

Cheers
