Question

stock alternator amps

I have 78 vette..small block with air..what is the stock alternator amp output? I was told 43 and 61..which is it? also if I put a 85 amp alternator on it will I need to change anything else? thanks ..

should be fine with no problems at all.

i plan to beef up my '81 to over 100 amps this winter.
