97 BLazer start issue

I have a 97 Blazer that starts hard off and on. I turn the key and it starts immediately, other times it takes about 5-6 seconds to start. It always starts though, at least to this point. It will start normal for 5-6 times in a row then bang it seems to start harder the other times, maybe 5 or so times then starts normal. Cold or hot doesn't matter. The dash lights comes on either case also. Should I leave it go for now or have something checked out??
thanks
tom

I would recomend taking it to a shop that wont charge you for an opinion and see what they think it is mine does that but she runs just as good as ever and i just assume to leave it alone for now untill i get my book on the blazer and have a look see!

My first instinct is to tell you to let it go from your description. However, when was the last time you gave the old gal a tune-up?

tuneup time!

Sounds like a plugged up fuel filter.

Also, new wires cap and rotor, plugs and air filter are in order.
