Flat tire and scratch

So the other day me and my girlfriend went out to the car only to find a pen sized hole in the sidewall of the tire, and a 7" scrape along the passenger side door...

Very upset about this, especially because we don't really have a lot of money.

Re: Flat tire and scratch

sorry man, this on the ION or CRX? a tire shop should be able to patch that hole for about $15. maybe the guy parked next to you got a little to close?

Re: Flat tire and scratch

The hole was in teh side wall, making it un-patchable, so we just bought the cheapest tire we could afford... bleh... This is on the ION. I wouldn't really care if my rex got scratched in a 16 year old car, but the ION is MAYBE two months old

I Only post about my CRX on the 88-91 Civic/CRX boards

Re: Flat tire and scratch

just a thought, you may want the cheapo tire on the rear. different brands of tires sometimes, eventhough they are listed as the same size, can have different diameters. if the drive tires are more then about 1/2 inch different rolling circumference it can wear the differencial prematurely.
