DLS vs Adire Koda

I just heard about DLS and I am interested in their stuff. I was convinced on Infinity, then convinced on Adire, but now I heard DLS will give me better sound quality, which is exactly what I'm looking for. Any info on DLS, especially the DLS UP6, would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Re: DLS vs Adire Koda

I haven't heard the DLS, but if I had to guess (that's what this is, a guess), I'd say the kodas easily have the edge in low end extension and midbass output, while the DLS might (this is subjective) have better general tonality. Ask on www.caraudioforum.com though, there are a bunch of people there who have heard the best of the best and can write a good comparison.

The reason I say the kodas would take the DLS in midbass is because the kodas have a lower resonant frequency (much lower, 65hz vs 40hz), stronger motor, heavier cone, and nearly twice the linear displacement.
