Lightbulb 85 Camaro

CAN someone help me!! I pulled the 2.8 multiport v6 out of my camaro and dropped a 350 chevy motor. My problem is that I cant seem to keep the alternator charging due to the wiring difference between the motors. It is a 2 prong alternator with the eye end on the back. Can someone tell me where each of these wires should go. Fuse box starter, where im lost need to drive it before winter comes. Been sitting for 3 years and I'm very close to completion.
Thanks

how much of the wiring harness did you hack up? the wire connector that goes to the alternator has a red and a tan wire i think, and one of those runs through the ignition switch to the guauge in the dash to who knows where, and the red wire runs the junction block on the passenger side fender and then to the battery.

Re: 85 Camaro

Hack jobs suck. Should have gotten adapter plugs and a used ECU to run it.

Sounds like you're going towards the clean engine bay deal.
Get a ONE WIRE ALTERNATOR. Bolt it in, one wire goes to the battery, you're good to go.
