Car Transport Companies

I need to transport a non-running project car from TX to NV. I got a few online quotes, most of which were around $900, which I think is sort of steep for an open hauler. The cheapest was around $700 from a company called JTM Logistics. Has anybody ever dealt with them before? Was it good or bad? Any ideas out there on how I can get this thing transported and save a few bucks? Thanks.

Re: Car Transport Companies

I worked once with a company @ Autotransport.com from Florida. They were the cheapest, but not very good about cancelling the move. You really need to read the fine print in the contract, and no matter if you change the move date or not, the only date they recognize with respect to cancellation, is original date given on the contract. They will all move your ride on a train, so when they say it will stay in the same trailer, that is true, but it could see a couple different haulers. AS a reference, I paid $700 for a 64 Caddy from MI. to OK. in a closed trailer.
