Those numbers seem low. Ive seen other SOHC VTEC's dyno around 160-170 with a GReddy kit. How much boost are you running? Im not trashing your car or anything, I just want to know because I thought the turbo alone would give you more hp than what you posted.

I guess Gude made a little mistake in their estimate!

Re: HEH

You need to build your bottom end and turn up the boost. The reason you have lower numbers is because you have less displacement than a SOHC VTEC.

Thats what I was thinking, and how much less displacement could he have? (1.5 vs. 1.6) With all the upgrades and running 7psi of boost, I still thought the power output would be more.

So am I not crazy in thinking he should be pushing closer to 170hp?

And turbocivic4, again, Im not trying to slam your ride, just the opposite. I just want to help you get the full potential out of your turbo, being that I am not that technically advanced, Im hoping someone else can help you out. I just know what Ive read before on power output with the GReddy turbo, and your numbers seemed a bit low.

You would have to have one extremly welll tuned D16 to get 170whp from only 6psi.
170hp at the crank is about what I would expect for a basic bolt on install. With the cam and head package, and the right tuning, then maybe 180-190. But thats still about 130whp in basic forum, and 140ish whp with the add ons.

170whp is 10psi with rods and pistons. Or about 220-230crank hp.
