Record breaking compliments!
Well I've gotten two or three compliments for my car before but today was outta hand record of compliments! First of I have been at work for the past 15 hours going on 16. long project but its gotta be done!
1. I get to work this morning and the kids from the warehouse are walking into work. One guy (drives a 3.2 lt. intrepid) stops and says "so this is the monster I keep hearing about?" and the other guy goes "wow, I heard you had a nice car but this is killer nice man" ......I was like "people talk about my car in the warehouse???" 2. I get into my office, turn on the pc, check my voicemail and "oh crap, I forgot my lunch" so I walk out side and right as I am openning the trunk I feel a hand on my shoulder. Its our CEO who I see once every 6 months or so. "My goodeness, you really brought this car back to life, I love the exhausts!" last time he saw my car was 9 months ago and I had just bought it.....I have done alot in 9 months. well to get a compliment on my 94 base model from a guy who has like 6 luxury cars at his home in L.A. was very nice! 3. around noon I go to have a snack and the new girl (receptionist) is in there with three girls from the accounting department. I've only spoken to her twice and I didnt even know she knew my name! she goes "good afternoon hotrod" I was like "ME?" , "you drive the white race car right?" It turns out she parks next to me but I never knew it was her car! "I always park next to you cause I figure if they want to steal a car they will go for the nicest one on the lot" Dude there are loads of bimmers and audis out there ......me? the nicest? oh well 4. I go out to the shipping department to talk to a buddy of mine.....guess what I see on his desktop....My car! remember the pics I posted last week, the ones in my sig. well I took those with his camera, the guy liked them so much he put one up on his pc...cool huh? 5. I go outside to my car to get some dinner and there are these two huge hand prints on my window and a ovallish print between the hands.....a forehead? someone was peaking in through the window. ........crazy day!

Re: Record breaking compliments!
haha, nice man. My favorite memory was the first time I took my vr4 to Pepboys, I came out 5 mins later with some oil, and 3 or 4 40year olds were gathered around, peeking in the windows and such. I just smiled to myself knowing my car was better than their mid-life crises' cars.

Re: Record breaking compliments!
I get compliments on mine all the time because there are many base and SL's around but still not many VR-4s. My car is also almost always very clean so it stands out even more than normal.
