Did I Blow Something? Lights On Instrument Panel And Ac / Control Lights Went Out
All the lights from my dash except for the alarm/engine bar went out. This also affected my control center lights and the lights for my climate control. The stuff still works but no lights :\
For example - my gas was low and i could hear the beeping sound from my control center but no light or words were showing to verify it. And i could control my ac/heater by guessing which switch they were on since the light and temp gauge don't light up. I had just finished wiring the remote lead on my Sony Head unit amplifier to a subwoofer amplifier in the back of the trunk. It came back on shortly but then when i shut the car off and restarted it it hasn't been on since. HELP! |

Sounds reasonable to me...
If it were me I'd take a step back (unhook that other amp) and start checking the fuse block in the front. |

Re: Did I Blow Something? Lights On Instrument Panel And Ac / Control Lights Went Out
I had a similar problem hooking up a system, except I fried my alternator and battery. Luckily it was on my Camry and not the Aurora. I would check all fuses, do a test on my alternator to see if its charging right, and most importantly check the inline fuse from your amp to the battery to make sure it is not to big. A 100 amp fuse is way to big, this is what fried my stuff, use a 25, 30, 40 amp fuse, the smaller the better, but just large enough not to blow every time it hits. Also not to sound like a smartass, did you check the interior lights buttom to the left of the steering wheel to see if the interior/dash lights have been turned down.
