i just installed a new panasonic deck in my car and there is no sound goin to the subs. there is power running to the amp. i checked everything. my rca cables and speaker wire is all fine. ive played around with the decks settings and still have had no luck. right before i put this deck in i had a kenwood installed and the subs worked great and i never touched them. does anyone know what the problem is???

My best guess would be the remote wire

Re: problem with panasonic deck...
Does the amp turn on when the deck is on? If not, remote wire. if you cant tell, or dont have a power light, take a wire, and jump between power wire + on the amp, and the remote wire. This will turn the amp on. I would pull the deck out, and make sure the rca's are connected to the right spot, the output, not input.

Re: problem with panasonic deck...
are the rcas hooked to a sub preout? if they are try switching them to the rear preout, i bought a panasonic deck a couple years ago and the subpre outs didnt work, had to send it in to get repaired 8 weeks later get it back and its still broken, got a new pioneer instead. Will never buy panasonic again. just an idea
