Total front end protection

Any suggestions for a bumper/grill guard combination with maximum protection (mainly concerned with the deer and their destructive nature while wandering our roads)

For a 2004 Chevy K-1500

Re: Total front end protection

On some tv show ive seen what i think they called a bull bumber( brand name maybe) this wasnt your usual junk street bupergrard that would end up smashed into your front endin a deer strike. it may have been on trucks. What impressed me was that it came with set ups to take the warn winch front reciever winch option. This bumper would easily take a strike from a full size bull or cow let alone a deer. Also had a rear bumper to match...JJ

Re: Total front end protection

Looked to be made of atleast 3/16 or more thick steel plate. tv show was "Trucks" with that stacey guy...JJI'm with you on this subject though. All this street stuff may look cool but does nothing to protect our plastic front ends. My body guy at the dealer warned me as well well and said save your moneyy and gett the real stuff...JJ

SLOW DOWN while driving through areas where they live.

"Their destructive nature while wandering "our roads" that we put right in the middle of THEIR LIVING ROOM!!!
I bet if you were to leave your truck parked in their woods those destructive beasts wouldn't destroy it nearly as fast as you might think.

I saw one of these on an older Silverado about a year ago, and it looked like you could ram a wall with it and not hurt it. Probably going to get one myself as soon as I get back to the states.

Those are really good for whatever you hit. My cousin has one on his 04 silverado 2500 4x4, and he hit a horse going around 70 and nothing happened. Well, at least to the truck. Also, he hit a truck like at 30 and again nothing happend to his truck, but the other truck got its front all smashed in.
