Should i buy it or not??

Im about to buy an 02 lancer oz rally for $7000, and i don't really know anything about lancers. I know that the car has 41k miles and has never been in any accidents. Its also never had any upgrades done to it. I really like the look of the car plus its yellow, one of my favorite colors. I was also wondering if i do get the car what are some basic upgrades i can do and what brands would be recommended for lancers.
i know its not an evo but i can't afford an evo right now so i have to settle......

check out www.roadracemotorsports.com or www.rmrproducts.com

they're one of te best sites for base lancer stuff. and 7 grand aint a bad price. the miles are a bit high, but if the oils been changed routinely and it's in good shape i'd say go for it. just outta curiosity, is it a manual or an auto?

Re: Should i buy it or not??

The car is a manual. Also I was wondering how reliable are these cars? i mean are they pretty good as far as not being lemons and not constantly breaking down?
I only ask cause i've never personally known anyone whose owned a mitsubishi....

The 2002-2003 Lancer is quite a reliable car. go to: http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Re...=10104&src=vip

I have a 2003 OZ and I love my car. It is my second lancer.(I keep working my way up to the evo ) Neither of my lancers had any problems. (at least from the manufacturer) I have an AEM cold air intake that sounds pretty good if you ask me. My husband also has a Mitsubishi. Which he also loves. I have never known anyone who has owned a lancer that has said that they don't like it or has said that it is a piece of junk. I would definately buy it if I were you.
