Re: 4x4 Prelude?

I've never heard of that before, unless you do a crap load of custom fabrication to the drive train and stuff, but that'd be cool.

Re: 4x4 Prelude?

I've heard you can use the drivetrain from a crv, but still it takes a lot of work

Yeah, I would imagine that would take a ton of work.

Re: 4x4 Prelude?

No. It's difficult for a Civic (which has been done), and it's difficult for us as well.

Re: 4x4 Prelude?

you could take a s10 frame and mount the prelude body on it

i heard the same thing bout the crv drivetrain and i've actually seen a rwd 98 teggy with a crv rear axle, driveshaft, and a crv tranny with a mix between ls and gsr gears. (this smiley is so cool)

i know a guy that dropped a frankenstein in a civic hatchback and made it rear wheel drive....had the whole thing fabricated. guy runs 13.4s constantly...best time ever was a 13.1 (NHRA track Steele, AL)

I know the conversion your talking about they take a B-series motor strap it on top of a cr-v tranny and mount the rear end up (which they have to remove your gas tank) so you have to get a fuel cell and they shorten the driveshaft and the end result is rwd b-series powered civic, integra and i've even seen a dohc b20 rwd accord
