Question 1989 PA won't start sometimes

Car will start with a shot of ether but stops when ether is gone. Sometimes the car will start and run but just for a little while. Hooked a fuel gauge to the fuel rail. 42lbs pressure drops to 38. Hooked up a timeing lite. Flashes at all times when cranked. Changed crankshaft sensor, plug wires, no check engine lite. Need to check computer for codes. What would cause computer to turn off fuel injector signal?
Crankshaft sensor, Camshaft sensor, ???

Maybe check the IAC i had a problem with my buick to where it wouldnt start unless i pumped the gas a little bit and had to keep it running by holding the gas. I had a dirty IAC so maybe give that a try

Talking :):):)

Check to make sure the Catylitic Converter or the muffler has plugged up. to do this, simply disconnect the exhaust near where the Oxogen sensor is located. It is real simple, two bolts. 15mm, deep socket

A bad oil preasure sensor will cause this. If the module or ECM thinks you have lost oil pressure it will cut off the fuel. This saves you from expensive oil related failures. The IAC is also a good thing to check. It will not shut off fuel but can cause rough idle problems. Good Luck.
