Lazy To Start???

well heres the deal my 88 crx si is a lazy starter every morning hot or cold you got to crank it twice for it to start, its been like that since i got her but i really wanna fix it now. and some times after its been sittin for a few hours i dont know if its just cause the engines cold or what but all my friends crx's start like notthing. some give me some sugestions please.

Spark plugs, the whole dizzy, possibly the main relay.

I disagree. Im thinkin more along the lines of fuel. Either your pump is lazy or it takes a while to build up pressure for some reason. I say look into getting a fuel filter at least and see if that helps any. If you get in the car and turn the key to the on position for a few seconds then go to crank it, does it fire right up? let us know

no same thing and now when i go to crank it sometimes it dosent even click i just have to turn the key again

starter cylinoid may be going bad, but there built into our starters so you have to replace the whole starter
