I am looking to buy a set(4) of used tires and rims from a friend and was wondering what a fair price for these items would be. The rims are 17'' enkei and were valued at around $175 each at the time of purchase. The tires are 17'' eagle ones. Both were purchased around the month of may and although the rims are still in fine shape, the tires are slightly worn from being driven all summer. Any EDUCATED estimate would be appreciated.
Thanks, Sko |

Re: What's a fair price?
Probably the best way to determine the resale value is to do a search for completed items on Ebay or one of the other online auction services. That will give you a fairly good idea of how much similar items are selling for. When ever posssible, take them down to an installer and have the wheels checked out for bends/run out on a balance machine before you buy. You don't want to be buying someone else's problem.

Re: Re: What's a fair price?
Yeah, I tried searching on ebay and elsewhere. None of the wheel/tire combos came too close to what I'm looking at. Thanks for your help anyways.
