HELP won't idle, stutters and jerks

91 F150 4x4 302 motor I was having problems with my front fuel pump. I replaced it and in the process of second guessing myself I changed the ICM. Yes I threw the timing way off. I don't have a timing light but figured I could set it fairly close by ear. Now it won't idle no matter where I set the timing and it is about to become a molotov cocktail. I went and had the codes read and this is what the kid said it said.
332-EGR valve not opening
542-Fuel pump circuit open/ECA to pump motor ground
628-Excessive converter clutch slippage
Now I wasn't having any trouble before the fuel pump unless I misdiagnosed it to begin with. The thing I don't understand is the converter slippage. I can feel it doing it but it wasn't a problem before. Is it possible the comp is screwing up everything?
