I don't know what it is about the F430, but I absolutely love it! It's what the Modena should have been.

Thanks Neutrino!

I know how you guys feel, when I read that article the first time i was freaking out. This car is just insane. I'm curious to see the CS version of it. My bet is: 500 ponies if not even more.

I also want to see the F430 with a manual. Paddle shifters are all nice and F1 derived; but come on Ferrari your open H pattern shifters were legendary.

Maybe this time around they'll make some manual CS versions.

Yeah buts its not like porsche is all purist drive like the good old days either. The new 997 has variable ratio steering. That IMO is sin on a porsche.

Re: Road test of the F430

This is one hell of a car! I've got the top gear video of it and I did see it on fifth gear when they first tested it out in november last eyar (top gears a lil slow) , anyone that wants to host the rip Ill provide it (the top gear one). But, I was looking on ebay , and they have oh about 10 of these there, and what surprises me, is that I dont think the U.S. versions are offered with launch control. this review posted here is a review of a european version. If you look at the copckpit picture , by the hand brake, right in fron tof it is an aluminum braket like thing which houses three buttons, two of em you push in from the top and the third one is angled and its labeled "auto". the button closest to the hand brake is the launch control botton, as I was looking on ebay, non of the ebay cars have this button, thus meaning that ferrari for some reason didnt give the us versions a launch control option, which really sucks because Ive seen what launch control does in this car form a 5th gear review and its awesome, its not like I have the money to buy a car like this (someday I will when I finish schools and all) but if nobody else noticed it looks like were getting ripped on one of the features that gives this car its uniqueness...
