oil ? again
if my 1996 mitsubshi eclipse gs as far as i know has been usein penzoil would it be safe to change it to havolin

As long as you stick with the same viscosity you will be fine. I jump brands on my beater car all the time (whatever is cheapest).

Nope, I have read that different brands have different strengths/weaknesses but as long as you are changing your oil, all will be good!! I also read, somewhere, that on a higher mileage vehicle, that changing viscosity (to a thiner oil) can lead to blow-by. So just buy the same viscosity.
