Smile Progress: Pimp my ride - Chevy Blazer

Tell me your opinion. I found those wheels from some crappy cheap toy car. I think that they are 1/18 size. But that toy car doesn't look that. It will also give it seats.

The car is Revell's Mad Mudder Chevy. I have stolen the engine to my 240Z project. So curbside it will be. But that car looks so big compared to other cars.
I think that those wheels doesn't look too big under it. I also have to replace those fake brake disks.

Here is a start of cowl hood. Basic shape is from a toothbrush case.

Left, some VIP wheels from Hiace Super Woofer kit. And right, AMT Super Bee Pro Street kit rear tyres.

Re: Do you think that these wheels are too big?

Those are beautiful wheels if you gave them in the right scale, 1/24 or 1/25. I'm using them on my Nomad and they look georgius undr it. But that's my opinion.

I measured them. 27mm. What size that would be? 25? At 1/24 scale.

I think they're too big to be even remotely realistic, but if that's the look you're going for then go for it.

27mm x 24 (scale) = 648mm

648 mm = 64.8cm

64.8cm / 2.5 cm per inch = 25.92 inches.

So in 1/24 scale they are about 26" big.

Mike.

Re: Do you think that these wheels are too big?

They might look less out of place on a more modern truck?

But I dont have any other wheels. Maybe I have to look around for other wheels.

I have primered and chrome painted the wheel. At background, is a mockup with vip and 206 wheels.
