FWD v6 5 speed
I am working on an 89 daytona that needs a new motor and tranny and need to know if Dodge ever produced a front wheel drive v6 that a standard tranny will bolt up to or any aftermarket products that will assist with this... Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Re: FWD v6 5 speed
yes they did, starting in 1990 the Daytona came with a Mitshubushi 3.0 V6, 5 speed available, if you'll do a search on Dodge Daytona on the Internet, you will find all kind of info

Rwood is correct. Although the Daytona became available with the 3.0 V6 in 1990, it has been produced for Chysler vehicles, namely their vans, since 1987. It isn't that amazing but never the less, its a good engine. 142 hp and 171 ft-lbs of torque at the flywheel if I remember correctly. The engine has potential though.

Re: FWD v6 5 speed
Had a 87 Voyger with the 3.0, loved it, short wheelbase, it would scream
