front hub

how do i remove front hub to replace wheel bearing?

You have to seperate the tierod from the knuckle, and top and bottom ball joints (remove all the brake hardware of couse), the bearing has to be pressed out.

remove the entire spindle (knuckle) and take it to your local machine shop along with the new bearing and they will take care of it for you

how much do ball joints cost? the castle nut on my lower ball joint stripped and now will not come off. was thinking bout cutting it off and pressing in a new one (i think its bad anyways)

To give you an idea (your results may vary), the upper ball joints (they come attached to new upper arms) are about $100 each, and the lower joints are about $40 each. GL
