I dont know what to do next. I have replaced the turbo, water pump, thermostat and, headgasket and I am still overheating. problem starts almost immediatly after startup. what else can I do?. the car compression tests fine and has good lines on everything. I dont know what else to check or replace, the fans turn on and everything? Please help me!!!!! oh yeah the muffler gets hotter than, ummm, errrrr, yeah, it gets hot.

Are you sure you don't have a big air bubble in the cooling system? Also, not to be a dick or anything, but how do you know for sure that you are overheating? There are 2 temp sending units on the thermostat housing (one feeds the ECU and one feeds the stock gauge). If you are going by the stock gauge, maybe your sensor is bad (mine went and was telling the ECU that my coolant was -20). Do you have a logger that you can check the ECU sending unit?

i had the same thing happen to me it turned to be the sensors...check ur sensors to make sure the read are right. i don't know what they are. check the manual or got to autozone....

another thing that could be happening is the radiator being full of something check the front of the radiator make sure you didnt suck something up into the radiator fins especially if it is overheating at idle

did you make sure the head gasket is on the right way... its pretty easy to put it on upside down. that right there could allow the exhaust gasses to heat the water almost immeadiatly apon start up either that or not properly torqued down head bolts...
