300 ZX Monster vs Sweet Supra

I'm pretty good friends with my boss at work. I've constantly drooled over his Z at work. This thing is the most powerful car I've ever sat in in my life. I constantly bother him, just to let me take a chick out on a date one time, but he won't let me. 450+ HP to the wheels (Twin Turbo of course)!! I love it!! So anyway, we have hung out a few times here and there and every weekend the night racers come out of there caves and bring out their whips to show everyone out there what their car is made of. So my boss's car has only lost once since he has modded out his Z and that was to a Viper, the truth is that the driver of the viper didn't know how to race. He was a total idiot and thought he got the best of him. But he caught him towards the end, still lost, but caught him. OK, sorry to drag on just giving a little background to his car. We were out cruising on the strip and we caught this Supra (about a late 90's edition) just ripping on every car it raced. We were just a few cars behind it on each race, and my boss and I tried to catch up with unsuccessfully for a few lights. Finally the Supra flipped a bitch after the next let, and so this was our chance to catch him. So we did the same and caught him right at the light. Sorry, but I'll just give you a little detail about this Supra: Black, full body kit, Twin turbo, just Gorgeous to look at. So anyway, my boss pull up to the right of him. He revs the engine, the BOV was hissings like crazy, and he looked over and smiled. He played our little game, and revved his car just to show us he wanted to play. The strip we were on had to be atleast 1 mile to the next light. So it was completely open all the way through. We each watched as the crossing light turned yellow, then red. Light went green and we launched!! I was immediately sucked back into my chair. Through the first shift we were dead even, 2nd gear still very close we were slightly ahead, BOV were hissing at almost identical times. Finally we hit 3rd gear, this was the long haul, this would determine who had the edge over the other. We had nearly hit 100mph. Suddenly we were pulling ahead, I looked over at my boss and smiled, he had a huge grin on his face, looking as though victory was all his. Then before you know it we here this loud "BOOM!" And the Supra flys by us like were a standing still. It was incredible. By about 3/4 of a mile through he was ahead and we each shut it down. We all pulled over and gave each other a congrats on such an awesome race. He commented on the power of the Z and said he wouldn't have won had he used the NOS. I'm surprised he used it on streets. Well, we agreed that we would have to settle this on the track next time. Best race I've ever been in. Well, sorry for the long story but I figured it would be worth talking about. Late...

Sounds sweet, could you be kind to other readers and insert a few paragraphs though? Thanks.

Re: 300 ZX Monster vs Sweet Supra

Yeah, sorry about paragraphs. But that was by far the best race I've ever witnessed, or been in. I loved every moment of it. But, my boss is actually moving out of state to another job. So he has to sell his Z. I'm actually trying to get a loan to buy it. I hope it all can go through. But we'll see. Chances are I won't be able to buy it but I will try to get some pics of his car and his set up under the hood. It's truly an amazing car. I would take it over anything. Well except a skyline, but I'm sure we'd all like a skyline one day.

450whp is really nothing for a twin turbo Z. its basically just 2 turbos, injectors, tuning, intake, exhuast and a boost controller away

a supra TT with bolt ons running a stock turbo can hit 450whp.

Those Supras have dangerous top end, as do the Z's. But I'm surprised he had to spray. I'm going to watch out for those Z's now. Nice death.

Re: 300 ZX Monster vs Sweet Supra

Impressive race. The fact that 450 whp is easily obtainable in those cars really does not change the fact that 450 whp is still an amazing amount of power.

Good luck buying that Z.
