na or boost

im sure this is a re post so sry, but every forum has a new buffet of opinions. do i take the 95 gt into the 12s with the cam/head/intake/exhaust/gears/tiers method or do i bring her there with a superchager and then if i get the money down the line thor on heads/cams and peice it as i go. it will be my every day drive for about another year then itll be weekend and summer cruiser.

I like power adders as long as the engine doesn't have to rely on it. By that I mean I think motors should go through your basic mods, pulleys exhaust etc, then add the power adder. I don't agree with power adders on stock motors.

you dont need al of that to dip in the 12s you should beable to do it without new heads cause thats pretty much the setup i havebesides heads mine are stock and on street tires i run 13.0s at 111mph. i would mod first then supercharge

Re: na or boost

i plan to mod first i was just wonderin what way to go intake wise i guess exhaust and other small must haves in the mod world will go on and ill use that time to make up my mind bu i still like the idea of a superchager...not sure if this is bs but my older brotehr has a buddy with a 95 cobra with gt40 heads/i cant remember what kind but a supercharger@15psi and street tiers ran an 115 with 454 rwhp...sounds a bit far fethced but its nice to think about.

Re: na or boost

115 mph or 11.5 sec ET? You can run 11 second ET's all day with way under 500rwhp. The 500 mark alot of times means 10's. All depends on weight, driver, weather, altitude, ect, ect...

Re: na or boost

sry it was 11.5 second time i was questioning that power could give u that time i was questioning thos mods giving u that power. and there was no serious weight reduction done to the car he acually, as the story goes could only pull a 12.3 out of it but his dad or buddy or someone else drove it and pulled the 11.5 {pump gas}stocktiers

Re: na or boost

454 rwhp with 400+ rwtq should put you deep in the 11's yes. Unless its in a 4200lb F-250 with stock suspension lol. But he has got more done to the car than you have listed surely. Who puts aftermarket heads on a car and leave the valvetrain stock?
