boost
hey there, on a 95 5.0ho with a gt40 cobra uper intake and basically stock eevrything else how many psi is safe to run without demoliting the stock bottem end. the kits ive benn lookin at basically stick to about 10 psi but im sure they are triend to keep it safe for warenty and a new pully will be an easy boost getter. anythoughts

well how many miles on it? If the car is in really good shape and hasnt been banged up u should be good 8-10, but I wouldn't go more then that. If you can get the November issue of Muscle Mustangs Fast Fords, it has 6 pages on forced induction. Ive only skimmed it but the article will answer just about every question you have

I've never heard of a GT-40 Cobra intake? Must be new! LOL

I know a guy that has over 200,000 mi on his 86 gt he's running an 8 psi supercharger, trick flow heads and a trick flow intake, its good for low 11's but he has forged pistons from the factory. (or maybe its one of those trick flow rpm 2 intakes not sure) lol
