Exclamation spare tire

I have 2000 Winstar sel for the first time i remove the spare tire I
couldn't belive my spare was 215/70/R15.All my tires are 225/60/R16
Is this normal or ok!

Probably OK since the spare is almost the same total diameter, 26.63 inches for stock vs. 26.85 for the spare. Makes sense for Ford since the 15" wheel is cheaper. Haven't looked at my spare tire size, most likely its the same.

I got the same shock on my '99 SEL. After paying extra for a "full size" spare, I was surprised to find it full size but not matching the other 4 wheels/tires.

I'll know to read the fine print next time. Just as soon accept the smaller spare ... later discard it ... replace with a separately purchased exact match.

has anyone had any trouble wtih there spare tire, i had someone remove it and now its stuck so i dont know what they did,but now it doesnt release it.
