Re: Mothers Polish Help

For the everyday consumer/car owner Mothers Polish is fine!

Mothers has a 3 step system in their California Gold Line Up! It consists of:

1) Cleaner Wax - To help remove oxidization and dirt from the paint! But it will not remove ferrous materials such as rail dust, brake dust etc. For that you could use Mother's California Gold Clay Bar System and you would use this prior to the Cleaner Wax. If you want more info on this, just let me know and I will give you the details. (No Pun)
Cleaner Wax is a Wipe On/Wipe Off Product!

2) Sealer/Glaze - This is essentially a polish and aids in removing/filling in swirls and minor scratches! It will also provide your paint with essential oils that will really enhance a beautiful gloss to your paint! You can apply this right after the cleaner wax step! (Of course you have removed the cleaner wax first) Sealer Glaze is a Wipe On/Wipe Off products also!

3) Carnauba Wax - This is the last step and as stated is your wax step. This will enhance the reflectivity and shine provided by the sealer glaze and will give you the protection from the elements! Again..this is a Wipe On/Wipe Off product!

Overall..I think this system is very good for the average "Joe"! Of course, you don't always have to do all three steps each time you wash the car (or 4 if you decide to clay first) but it's always nice to have the products on hand. Once you have done the first 2 steps, you can just re-visit your paint from time to time with a new application of wax!

As for availability in the UK...yep! Click on the link and scroll down the page to see the products! In the UK they call the steps "phases"!

Cheerio Mate..Have Fun...lol
