Smile FireFly

1990 2door hatchback Pontiac Firefly 61ci 993cc 55hp 1.0L engine that I want to replace with a 1.3L four cylinder that I will give a turbo I hope to find the 100hp (+90 with mods) engine from a Suzuki Swift GT with a DOHC. Anyone have any advice? Any better suggestions...

FireFly

Can I bolt a Suzuki Swift GT engine onto my Firefly? What about other engines? What about transaxels?

Re: FireFly

If I replace my 3cylinder with a Firefly four cylinder will I have room for a turbo? You think I could get side exhaust and turbo pressure release from the hood and a transparent shaker hood with a scoop for the turbo intercooler?

Re: FireFly

Maybe I should just get a 'real' car. Maybe if I get shocks and suspension and a lift I can have the first ever 4x4ing Firefly.
I tryed taking a firefly places that only the most extreme quader would go, I live in the boonies of CANADA. Anyway I cracked the transmission and fuel tank and...broke a fuse and blew a header. If only I knew all I had to do was replace the fuse then I would have kept going. She ran even better with a smashed transmission, after I fixed the tires rims so it didn't drive so wobbely.
