Exclamation white smoke

hey guys i got a question. theres white smoke coming from either the sparkpulgs or the header and the pgm-fi light is on but there is no code lit up on the box. does anyone have any idea of what my be causing the smoke or the pgm-fi light to be on? also ive checked the lines from the map sensor and other vac lines as well. please help me out

The first thing you need to do is pull your valve cover off and check to see what color your oil is. If it's milky white, you're burning water meaning your head gasket is blown. I don't have my book at the office with me, so I can't remember what would be causing the pgm-fi light to be on. But defenitely check that and pull your spark plugs to see if there is oil deposited on them.

just pull the oil cap off and look at the bottom side. no need to pull the entire valve cover off

ok ive checked the oil and its fine, im thinking that the smoke is coming from the gaskets between the header and the block but im not sure

Then you might want to check your exhaust gaskets. And make sure the bolts are torqued down to specs.

white smoke indicates coolant being burned. definitely a gasket problem

iam trying to find the casting number of an 1993 chrysler lebaron engine it is an 3.0l v6 smpi sohc 8v engine can any one tell me wre to find it at thanks ken
