I was wondering if anyoen else has had their rear window squeak when they hit a bump. Even if it is just a little bump the window squeaks, and it can get very annoying after listening to it for a minute. Any ideas on what to do to stop the squeak. Thanks.

oil the hinges and the window mechanism.

How do you oil the hinges, I have the same problem. It looks like the hinges are buried behind some plastic trim.

hahaha
I don't have that problem, but one day I went flying over some extremely bumpy railroad tracks and the glass on my rear hatch opened on it's own! It's safe to say I've been a lot more careful lately. |

Re: 96 Blazer rear window squeak
At the Dealership we would take vasoline grease and put a lite coat on the rubber seal all the way around it. That would fix it until it dried out .

Re: 96 Blazer rear window squeak
also just a little grease on the latch mechanism itself should do the trick. I have the same problem
