Intermediate steering shaft - lubrication

I see lots of posts about the impala's and replacing or relubricating the intermediate steering shaft.

I was wondering if it was just normal grease that was used on that? or is there a different recommended material.

Re: Intermediate steering shaft - lubrication

Thanks Ryan,
I was trying to figure out if I needed to buy the kit, or if normal grease would be fine. Any thoughts?

Re: Intermediate steering shaft - lubrication

No kidding? Hey, I have an idea, maybe I should see if its caused by the steering shaft? But maybe its just the steering shaft instead. Nah, its probably something like the steering shaft.
