Hey my timing blet broke and i have replaced it.
Now my engine rattles like something is loose inside it... only rattles when i accelerate... also before i could hit 100mph easy now with the new timing belt i cant even hit 85mph anymore... Any help is appreciated. |

Hey Vang,
If your timing belt broke than you may have some internal damage to that motor. If you can hear some things rattling and have lost acceleration then you probably busted something. Take the head off and look at your pistons and valves.

what year is it? I heard that after a certain year, these cars had non-interference motors in them. Anyways, if there's nothing wrong internally, you could have your timing retarded slightly.
