Torsion Bars
Ok . . does anyone know if on an 88 Mazda B2200 if you can loosen the torsion bars all the way down to where they are not connected anymore and the body will still hold up? Any info would be appreciated

Re: Torsion Bars
it will rest the control arms right on the bump stops, not a good idea if your driving it

Re: Torsion Bars
oh no dont get me wrong, you can bring it right down by cranking the torsion bars, but the ride is awful, i actually just put mine back to stock hieght cause it was too rough a ride in my area of town, but you can also buy control arms that lower it, if you go onto the djm suspension site they sell a package for 189.99 american and it gives you 3" lower control arms and a 4" block for the rear, do that then bring it down some more with the torsions and she'll be real low, let me know if you need anymore help
