Re: need to know b16a replacement parts

Dont use your friends stock ecu for the b16! Any parts are replaceable. If its sensors...it has to be from a non obd 90-91 integra or jdm parts.

Re: need to know b16a replacement parts

yea you need to use the ecu for a b16, 99% of parts can be sourced from either the 99-00 si or the 94-95 del sol vtec, but like mellow said, the sensors need to come off a 90-91 integra GS/LS.

Re: need to know b16a replacement parts

since the b16a motor is OBD0, and the USDM b16a2(99-00si) and the b16a3(94-95 Del Sol Vtec) are OBDII and OBDI respectivly, the sensors will not work with the ecu you have, so you need to take the sensors from a 90-91 Teg, or JDM Civic/CRX SiR so you get OBD0 sensors.

Unplug your battery for 15 secs. then try it again. Besides the sensors, REMEMBER, not all parts will fit.

Re: need to know b16a replacement parts

the only sensor thats OBD specific (other than distributor innards) is oxygen sensor, and then you can get any 1 wire oxygen sensor.

You can get the majority of parts from a 92-93 integra GSR b17a1. Its the only USDM engine with the identical intake manifold as the pre-OBD B16A. crank, rods, pistons, and OBD specific items such as distributor will not work, although they would if you converted to OBD1.

you can run a b16 off of a pm6, you will just have to chip it with b16 maps & run an external vtec activation source.
