02 Ranger VS 93(?) Escort

well here goes,

My uncle asked me to go up and get him stuff at home depot, and he gave me the keys to his 02 ranger. Well anyways coming back home I see this kid in a 93(?) Escort hatchback, cheapo rim's, fart can the whole nine yards. He kept following this F-150, getting back then flooring it to get right on his ass and then slams on his brakes. I’m just saying to myself, “fucking idiot”. Well just so happens that F-150 is turning into block busters and we both catch the red light .


I knew damn well he was going to take off fast because he was already brake torquing his automatic. He look’s over and I give him a look back then turn my head because the light’s about to change, I saw him about to jump before the light turned green. But he stopped because the other side got the turning arrow first. Well any way’s as soon as the light turns green we both take off. He squeals a little bit and so do I, I mostly slipped the rear tires on the crosswalk paint. I immediately floored it when he came up to my door and got 2 car lenths on him easy, I tell you what for a 4 liter 207hp 238tq V6 in that kingcab pickup, It moves. I shifted into 2nd and pulled another car lenth easy but I let off because I was already doing 45 in a 35. He goes flying past me at like 40-45mph giving me the dirtiest looking I’ve ever seen because he didn’t expect to get his ass whooped by a pickup. Then after he went flying past me, he caught another light….


He then rolled down the window and was like, “dude you’re a fucking cheater there’s no way in hell that trucks stock” , I looked at him straight in the face and said. “really? Pull over at the quick fill up the road and I’ll let YOU confirm it’s bone stock, It’s not even mine”
He laugh’s and agrees to follow me in. I stop get out of the truck, pop the hood, First thing he say’s is “HOLY SHIT! That’s got a a V8!” I’m over their trying so hard not to laugh but it kinda comes out and he says. “what I told you that you were cheating” I reply “ dude this is a factory V6” he goes “yea whatever buddy” and left. I swear to god I laughed the whole way home.

Not much of a race but I got some humor out of it.

i know, those things are pretty damn quick. I raced one when i was NA, at first i didnt expect anything from it, but it kept up really well with me. That truck would be a fun sleeper i think.

LOL but a v8 come on, and how is that cheating? Your cheating cause your car is better than mine? uhhhhh. . .sigh how stupid can people get?

lol one time i raced a supercharged ranger...i could hear the supercharger...he didn't exactly walk all over me but he did get 1 or 2 car lengths on me by 70 mph...then i let off cuz it waz a 50 zone...
