Console to Middle Seat?

Will a middle 3rd seat with fold down console bolt in, in place of a full center console?

Re: Console to Middle Seat?

That's a good question. My 2000 K1500 has the middle seat and it's bolted to the floor...I had to check and make sure it didn't move with the right seat when it was adjusted back and forth. You might not have any carpet under your console. Is your shifter on the column? I have been thinking of going the other way and installing a center console in place of the seat so I hope someone has an answer.

I believe it will. I have been looking to replace my center jump seat with a folding center seat console. I have graphite cloth and haven't had any luck with finding that on eBay. Guess I need some spare dough first though.

Re: Console to Middle Seat?

I'm not sure if there is carpet under the console. I think there is, but wouldn't the seat cover that anyway? It would just be nice to have that extra seat in the middle so my girl can sit a little closer! ;o) It seams so small in there with the center console.

yeah you can swap em out. I put a full center console in place of my non-folding middle seat in my 2000 silverado reg cab.

got the whole console on ebay for $60
