hot water bypass

i've heard of bypassing a ford ranger's hot water pump or something. Im not sure what the results are of doing this, how it will affect performance or if its even possible. anyone with any knowledge of this would be greatly appreciated.

it's actually eliminating the hot water going through the intake. You loop the 2 hose together. It makes it run slightly cooler & lessens the pinging some. it's done on later model rangers, i think 98 & newer.Good Luck!!
