jbl + hifonics

Im thinking about going with two 10 inch jbl gto subs and a hifonics zeus amp. Is this a decent setup? I'm not looking for top of the line here, just something that will work and be somewhat good. My questions are:

-Will the zeus amp be too much for the jbl's?
-Does anybody have any recommendations for this setup?
-I heard a bandpass box is the best for these subs, is this true?

Thanks in advance.
