gurgling in the heater core
i just flushed out the system and replaced it all only to hear gurgling in the heater core when i accelerate it didn't do this before. anyone know how to get rid of it?

Leave the cap off of your radiator when you first start you truck. When it gets to temperature, then top it off. You have trapped air in the system.
DO NOT take the cap off when it is HOT! |

Woot, I think this is another issue I get too look at tonight as well! My truck appreciates all of the help you guys are providing me to fix it with

Clearly it is gasses released by the magma in the lower parts of the block. Id call the USGS.

One thing, you need to replace the rad cap.
Our system is self replenishing from the overflow resevoir and if you rad cap is not sealing, it will draw in air through the cap instead of drawing coolant from the resvoir when it is cooling and contracting. Replace the CAP ASAP. |
