Paint Codes

I just bought my 1999 Olds Intrigue about 2 weeks ago and I'm ready to get a spoiler for it. I found a nice one I like at www.spoilerdepot.com but it seems that the site doesn't have my paint code (or any Olds Intrigue paint code). But since you can type your own code in, I plan on doing that. My problem is that I can't find the paint code on my car. It's Crimson Red (i think). If any one can tell me that paint code for Crimson Red or where I can find the paint code, that would be great. I'm not spending $340+paint+labor at the dealer!

Thanks for any help!

You can find the paint code on your service identification label. On GM cars they are found on the underside of the trunk lid and in the glove box on GM trucks. It's the sticker with a bunch of three digit codes on it. Your paint code should be a four digit number on the bottom of this sticker with the trim and interior color codes.

Re: Paint Codes

Or simply look under the spare tire in the trunk. GM keeps all paint codes for the intrigue under the spare tire in the trunk
