worried about car

ok today, i was testing out my car...performance wise...So i stopped, then floored it just to see how fast i would go....and so im going like 80 and then i break really fast cuz i drop my friend off. Then when i start going again my front right wheel sounds weird. Like i can hear it rotating. I thought it was just the breaks becasue maybe they got too hot but idk. I am really worried and would like to know if this is a major problem or just my hot brakes....thank you
