everyone calls them names (make fun of them)

stuff like that... WHY?


I'm basically all of these,

The one reason why I post this thread is to talk to people If I could find time, because of work,school, and so fourth.... If anyone is depress talk here.

I used to be there too man, and I agree, it sucks. In truth, not everyone hates you. People that hate you probably don't even have a good reason for it, and are probably too depressed themselves so they have to call you names.

When I was in Jr. High for the first year, I had NO self-esteem. I would walk down the halls staring at my feet, just wanting the day to be over so I wouldn't have to deal with the people. I had pretty bad acne, so I got called pizzaface and all that stupid crap. I would go home and cry (not even kidding). I would look in the mirror and call myself ugly and thought everyone was out to get me. I was quite depressed to say the least.

Well, during that year of what seemed like hell, I did have something that I enjoyed: Wrestling. I joined the wrestling team because one of the coaches was my 5th grade math teacher, and he said I should try, so I did. Now, I know most people say that you should join a sport for the self-esteem boost just to say something, but I say it because it actually worked. I got in better shape, and lost weight, thining down to 135lbs or so, and started to build muscle. I started to feel better about myself because I was on a team of people who didn't think I was total shit. And when I won, it was even better. I wrestled all through Jr. High, and frankly am glad I did.

When I started High School, I was still getting people making fun of me, but my acne was clearing up, and I was a lot bigger than I had been in Jr. High. I discovered the mindset (and this is a key) that the people I was spending my high school time with, would probably not come into play later in my life, therefore making them insignificant. I knew how to act properly, and that there wasn't anything wrong with the way I dressed or talked or looked.

If anyone treats you badly because of who you are, they aren't worth your time. Ever. Someone gives you crap about what kind of clothes you're wearing? You tell them where they can stick it. Someone makes fun of something about you, feel bad for them that they are too stupid to realize that differences are what make us who we are. The only opinion's that should matter to you are those belonging to your friends and family.

Don't ever think that you don't matter, because when you think that way, you've let them get to you, and that shouldn't happen, because as I said, people who make fun of others are usually too shallow to realize their own faults.

i was the same way up until my second last year. then i got a new attitude. i reliezed that they weren't my time. sure it took a few lumps to get it across that i wasn't taking shit. but it was all worth it. my last to years of scool were some of the best years of my life. you just can't let foolz bring you down.

as far as a girl freind goes. find a copy of double your dating by David DeAngelo. my friends swear by it. i have never read it my self.

There is some girls that I like but they already have b/f's. My time will come, hopefully soon.

I don't care about sex, all I care about is to make a girl happy, and love them for who they are. Sex can wait til i'm 30 or sooner, but the first thing I need to worry about is my Life. I'm not sure what I want to be yet.

I was thinking to be and police officer but that will take skills, or a Truck Driver, but first I need to learn how to drive a stick, and the last thing I might go for is Drawing. I need to decide soon.

btw I need money to get a g/f, you know how girls are.

This is absolute zero self-confidence talking...

1) You want sex before thirty. Believe me. No girl wants a drooling lackey (for a meaningful relationship, at least). This will only get you used and abused.

2) You may want to be a cop but you're scared because it takes skills? You easily have the potential to LEARN the skills it takes to be a cop. Same with trucking, for Christs sake- it doesn't take a rocket scientist to be either.

3) You absolutely DO NOT need money to get a girl. Girls are attracted to confident, secure men. The ones who want men for their money are worthless outside of bed, anyway.

So buck up and change your mindset, bud- you'll be fine.

I know exactly how you feel. Pretty obvious from my recent thread. Today is actually the first day in about a week I've woken up without some sort of suppressed anger or rage and actually in a relatively good mood. Life is tough for me right now as well. So many things to question and most if not all of them unanswerable thus far.

The thing I think that has helped me is prayer. Don't know if you are religious in any way, but if you are just pray. I believe that's the reason I'm feeling better today. I'm with ya man. Depression sucks, I hate having it. When it gets real bad is the worst. Trying to find off the demons in your head is difficult, but fight against them as hard as you can and eventually your attitude will change.

skills are easy to come by. practise is the key to everything. make up your mind go for it. you will most likely change it a few times in your life. just do what you think is fun and exciting right now

Don't worry about needing skills for the police: If you go to a good academy they will teach you everything you need to know. In the theoritical world, anyway.
