sunroof drain holes

Recently I've been having a problem with water pouring on my head from my sunroof when its raining outside. I have an 88 Accord Lx and used compressed air to make sure the front drain tubes weren't clogged. But I'm pretty sure the problem is that the rear tubes are clogged and I can't seem to find the holes for them. Are they so far back that I have to remove something to get to them?

Re: sunroof drain holes

I don't think there are rear drain holes. Maybe you have a damaged/torn gasket.

sunroof drain holes

There are drain holes on the 89 accord. they are accessed via the trunk and empty above the wheel wells. On my car you have to remove the side panels in the trunk and look for a clear plastic tube that goes out - the ends of these tubes get clogged with grit and muck and then the tubes get backed up and then you get wet! You have to pull the tubes out, clear them and they you are set to go.

Yep that's exactly what the problem was. Thanks for your help.
