clicking noise from drivers side - corolla 2001
took the car to the dealer to check out check engine light that comes on and then goes off. the dealer replaced the MAF sensor. got the car home and then noticed that there is strange clicking sound coming from someplace around the dashboard/steering column. it almost sounds like what you hear when you use the turn indicator but not that loud. also noticed that the dome lights are flickering when the door is opened and not shutting off when the door is closed. the clicking sound is heard even after he engine is shutoff and the key removed. the clicking sound and flickering was not there before the dealer worked on it.
any idea whats causing this ? thanks

152 for parts , 70 for diagnostics and labor plus tax, envoirnment fees... total 245
update on the issue.... I had a power windows problem diagnosed along with the check engine light where the driver side window is making a fuuny noise when the glass is pulled up. The dealership is telling me that there is a after market alarm system in the car which is making the clicking sound. I wasn't aware of any system. I bought the car used and previous owner didn't tell me about it... now the dealership wants $150 to remove the alarm.... But there are not answering the question -what triggered the alarm to make the clicking sound right after they worked on the car.....
