Jumpy when steering hard

96 Tahoe 2 door when I steer hard in either direction especially parking the Tahoe seems like it wants to keep going straight and it gets very "jumpy" for lack of a better word almost like it wants to stall.

If it's a 4WD, make sure it's in 2WD-High.
If it's a 4WD and already in 2WD-High, check to make sure the front locking hubs have disengaged (drive slowly in reverse on a level surface for about 20 or so feet).
