Angry Trouble Finding GSR Header

I have a 2000 GSR with intake and exhaust and im in the process of finding a header for it. Most companies with the exception of DC sports and comptech stoped making GSR headers at 99 when they lengthened the header. Me being a cheap bastard, I try to find some that are cheaper then the two stated above. I bought some off of ebay (TSUDO) which arn't too bad except the fact that they don't fit a 00-01 GSR. A representive from TSUDO told me that I need to buy a 94-01 RS/LS/GS Header and that it would fit my 2000 GSR. Does anyone know if this is true? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

By the way I found out all this information AFTER I bought the header.

Re: Trouble Finding GSR Header

DC and Comptech......cant go wrong........You'll be happy with those two. DC and Comptech quality is superb. Also, what is this superlightweight material that this ebay ad is using? they never mentioned it. If it is so light weight, how is it constructed? Bad construction and quality leads to: bad flow, easily cracked header, stripped or siezed bolts, etc, etc, etc. I would call the company and ask more questions before purchasing.

If you just looking for anything cheap for upgrades, you are walking the wrong path.

thanks guys for the input...yeah TSUDO is a emerging company, so not many people know too much about them. I received the header that didn't fit from them and it was very good quality. Welds were very nice and seemed like a very solid piece. At 15 pounds I don't believe it was "superlightweight." I paid 166 shipped for the TSUDO header.
